The widest meridian lens system in the Canon catalogue is a real gem: the EF 14mm f2.8L Deuce USM, now in an improved Mark II version, delivers ultra-wide insurance coverage without any of the torture of a fisheye. This is the lens to go for if you want to enamour big skies, large buildings or expansive landscapes with superb quality. It's also a valuable lens in cramped situations. Put it connected a planted body and it's still pretty full, but often less exciting. I wouldn't recommend it to APS-C owners unless they were thinking of upgrading to full-frame the future. But full-frame owners who love their ultra wide angle coverage will quickly become smitten, and it's well worth spending the extra on the Mark II version. Compare close with the EF 11-24mm f4L zoom though.

This is the lens to go for if you deprivation to seizure big skies, king-size buildings or expansive landscapes with superior quality. IT's also a valuable lens in cramped situations. Put it on a planted physical structure and it's still pretty wide-eyed, but more than less exciting. I wouldn't recommend it to APS-C owners unless they were intellection of upgrading to full-frame in the later. But complete-frame owners who love their ultra wide fish insurance coverage will quickly become crazy, and it's well worth spending the superfluous on the Mark II version. Comparison close with the EF 11-24mm f4L zoom though.
